Default Protective bond ignoring attacks?

I noticed that when fighting the dryders in perdition rock, they have a touch that does 40dmg and ignores bond, weird thing is that I decided to fight against other necro monsters too see if necros do ignore bond and turns out they dont. So only the dryders are able to ignore bond, anybody else had this?

Is it a DoT thing? Because this is totaly un-normal if in one stike they deal 40 damage. Health Degen maybe?

You're talking about Shadow Strike, which does X damage, and 2X if your health is over 50%. However, instead of simply doubling the damage, the >50% damage bonus is added on as a separate amount in itself (you see 2 numbers), and may be ignored by the bond because it is not technically an "attack".

Yeah, talking about shadowstrike. So thats how it works, even then, similar attacks have done 2dmg at most all the same. Guess shadowstrike is good that way I guess.

Most spells will say "damage" after an effect. The ones that say "lose life" or "steal life" as an effect will penetrate bond

mm...penetration

So then the way to nerf UW solo farming without making it impossible is to put in some Necro NPCs with Shadow Strike, Vampiric Touch, and Vampiric Gaze?

Heh, my view is that UW solo farming isn't so bad.. and above that, those spells probably would end up killing some of the mediocre parties.
